South Africa beat Sri Lanka by six wickets in Group D match of T20 World Cup.

Sri Lanka set a target of 78 runs to South Africa, which South Africa easily achieved at the loss of 4 wickets.

In today's match in New York, Sri Lanka captain Hasaranga won the toss and decided to bat first.

Against the brilliant bowling of the African bowlers, the entire Sri Lankan team could score only 77 runs in the 20th over.

Sri Lanka's Kaushal Mendis was outstanding with 19 runs, Kamindu Mendis scored 11 runs and Angelo Mathews scored 16 runs.

South African fast bowler Nokia took 4 wickets by giving 7 runs while Rabada and Keshav Maharaj took 2 and 2 wickets respectively.
